Astrea to assume ownership from KTVS, to provide broadband internet services for Three Lakes, WI.     

THREE LAKES, WI: Astrea, a division of CCI Systems, Inc. of Iron Mountain, MI, will assume ownership and responsibility for servicing the broadband internet to Three Lakes, WI from Karban TV Systems. Astrea will assume operations of the high-speed internet services currently provided to area subscribers on October 1st. 

“John Karban, owner of KTVS, has been a face recognized by most in the Three Lakes community for nearly four decades,” says Cory Heigl, Vice President of Astrea. “At Astrea, we intend to honor his commitment by continuing to invest in the network to provide best-in-class products and services to the Three Lakes area. Furthermore, we’re excited to make the Three Lakes area the next gigabit community in Wisconsin.” 

Astrea is committed to keeping small-town communities connected to the things and people they love by being reliable and responsive. This acquisition will provide the opportunity for services to nearly 1,800 residential and business addresses in the Three Lakes area. Network upgrade plans are planned with tentative completion the first part of 2021.
